Eat: Brown Sugar Fig and Gorgonzola Crisp

One of my favorite desserts is apple crisp, not only because it’s absolutely delicious but it’s extremely easy to make. It’s a classic traditional dish that is one of my go-to recipes when I’m in the mood for comfort food. But, every now and then, I  like to mix it up and when I saw this recipe, I was immediately intrigued. I know what you’re thinking: how could the combination of all these ingredients actually be appetizing. Well, surprise surprise: they are. The sweetness of the figs, crunchiness of the granola, and the creamy aged taste of cheese are an unexpected but welcomed spin on the dessert. This treat is something I would enjoy with a glass of moscato and a good book. The recipe can be found here. Bon appétit!
