Wear: Erin Wasson’s Style

Erin Wasson is one of those people who looks like they just rolled out of bed, effortlessly put together a red carpet look, and land on the best dress list. She doesn’t follow trends; instead she sets them, dressing for herself in an uncontrived manner and making a style that is truly her own. She tends to an affinity for styling edgy pieces in a laid-back way. For example, the Met Gala is an event where starlets, models, and designers dress to the nines in $30,000 dresses, but in 2009, Wasson decided to wear the ensemble pictured in the far right: high waisted leather pants with zippers, ankle boots, a low cut top, and a blazer, all black. It is realiness like this that makes Wasson a muse to several designers and helps her clothing and jewelry lines sell out quickly.
