wear: Designs from Fall 2014 New York Fashion Week Part 3
Day Three of New York Fashion Week came to an end last night. In my opinion, some of the best looks that went down the runway were in the classic neutral color, black and for good reason. The color looks good on everyone. It’s a tale as old as time. Here are some of my favorite looks of the day:
- ADEAM was one of the designers to keep a look out for last year and this season, she proved that she is a force to be reckoned with. One of my favorite looks of hers was this sleek cocktail dress with the handkerchief hemline.
- Prabal Gurung’s show was briefly interrupted by a streaker but not before he could send this sexy feminine twist on the blazer and pant combination.
- Christian Siriano toned down his normally extravagant designer gowns and was inspired by 1950s glamour for his fall 2014 show. His closing look was gorgeous and refined, I would not be surprised if it made its way on the red carpet sometime soon.
- Monique Lhuillier showed once again why all of Hollywood loves to wear her gowns on the red carpet. I loved the feathered bodice on this evening gown.
- Only Jill Stuart could make a leather cutout breastplate look cool instead of looking like a prop from “50 Shades of Grey”
What was your favorite look of the day?
