live: Breakfast Bar

live: Breakfast BarWe’ve heard it all before: breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Sadly, these days, I rarely have the time to even physically sit down and enjoy a balanced meal of curds and whey (do people still eat that for breakfast?). In a perfect world, I would wake up in the morning, come down stairs (because I live in a two story house), and make myself an acai bowl with avocado toast and scrambled eggs (then promptly Instagram it) and all of this action would take place at my breakfast bar. Basically, an unformal dining table, a breakfast bar is a luxury if you have the space for one. It can double as a work space and a serving station, just to name a couple of its uses. If I had a breakfast bar as beautiful as the one pictured above, I would wake up even earlier than I do already,  just to ensure that I can spend more time in my kitchen. If home is where the heart is, then the left side of my heart belongs to the kitchen. It is important to let to reflect in your interior design choices. Just thought I might suggest…
