watch: Now is Good

watch: Now is GoodIt’s hard to imagine all the countless number of amazing films that go under the radar each year. My generous guess would be in the three digit range. Somehow, back in 2012, the romantic drama, “Now is Good” happened to slip right past me, but due to wonderful people of Netflix, I had a chance to see this film and it is not to be missed. The movie stars Dakota Fanning as a teenager named Tessa who is dying from leukemia and has a list of things she wants to do before she dies. While the plot sounds familiar (“A Walk to Remember”, “The Bucket List”, etc), the way the movie goes about how Tessa accomplishes her final wishes in a different way, by just letting the main character live her life and let this milestones come authentically. “Now is Good” is definitely a tear-jerker, but also have very light, very British comedic moments. If you’re in the mood for a good film, now would be a good time to watch “Now is Good”, especially since it is currently streaming on Netflix and could expire at any time. Just thought I might suggest…

I bawled throughout the whole of this film, it’s a good watch though! 🙂

  2. The movie is so sad and heartbreaking!! I love Jeremy Irvine´s character! Did you know it is based in a book? I recommend you read the book! It is really good and gives so much details about the love story. It is called Before I Die by Jenny Downham!
