drink: Salty Dog

drink Salty DogI know you’re not supposed to judge a book by its cover, but can you judge a cocktail by its name? In the case of the Salty Dog, it’s pretty safe to say you can’t. This drink with is a simple mix of grapefruit juice and gin (or vodka) only looks like the color of a hot dog and the only thing salty about it is the optional salt-covered rim. The recipe for this cocktail can be found here. Don’t knock it till you try it! Bottoms up!
