watch: August Osage County

watch August Osage CountyI am a huge fan of movies with an ensemble cast. “Ocean’s 11”, “Love Actually”, and “The Royal Tenebaums” are a few good ones that come to mind. “August: Osage County” is a  new film that is coming out soon that I am adding to the list. This early Oscar contender, which is based on the Pultizer Prize winning play of the same name, is about a dysfunctional family who are forced to come together after a family crisis. The movie has an all star cast led by Oscar winners, Meryl Streep, Julia Roberts, and Chris Cooper and is coming out in  a time where there are not a lot of well written  for women.  This movie is a tour de force and should not be missed. A trailer for “August: Osage County” can be found here. It’s definitely is worth a watch. Just thought I would suggest…
