watch: HER

Her A Spike Jonze Love StoryI am extremely excited about this film…like extremely excited. “Her” is the story about a lonely divorced man who develops an unexpected relationship with a computer operating system that is designed to fit all his needs. I am a fan of Spike Jonze’s body of work, he has made iconic music videos for Jay-Z, Kanye West, and Weezer and I enjoyed the smart, witty writing of “Being John Malkovich”, so I have high expectations for this film. With its fascinating concept, amazing cast of Joaquin Phoenix, Amy Adams, Rooney Mara, and Scarlett Johansson as the voice of HER, and soundtrack scored by Arcade Fire, I really don’t see where this movie could go wrong. The trailer can be found here and be sure to catch film now in select cities or when it opens nationwide on January 14th. Just thought I would suggest….

  1. Would love to catch that. It reminds me of that 80s movie Electric Dreams
