explore: Pamukkale, Turkey

thermal-springs-pamukkale-turkeyIt’s makes perfect sense that Pamukkale means cotton castle in Turkish. In the daylight, these hot spring pools, which are located in southwestern Turkey,  look like they are floating on clouds. It should come as no surprise that these picturesque pools have become a tourist attraction, drawing thousands and thousand of people to come ‘bath’ in its hot springs. As horrifying as that might sound to some, I bet that once you see the view from the pools, you’ll forgot about the rest. It’s also important to know that people just swim in them these days.  If you have the opportunity, I would check out Pamukkale.

I have also been there in 2006. It was beautiful indeed. Have you also been there? Or do you plan going?
