drink: Rhubarb Lemonade

Homemade-Rhubarb-Lemonade-2Rhubarb is an interesting vegetable that until recently, I only associated with strawberry pie. It wasn’t until this week that I knew that it could be used in several inventive ways. Since it’s summer and the unofficial drink of the season is lemonade, it is perfect to feature this suggestion to make rhubarb lemonade. What is interesting about this recipe is that even though rhubarb is a vegetable, mixed with lemonade, it can taste sweet, even making the lemon flavor a little less tart. The recipe for this drink can be found here. Bottoms up!
