live: Porch Swingin’

Porch SwingI have been to my brother’s house that he purchased over 5 years ago and this weekend was the first time I noticed that he had a porch swing. His entire backyard has been covered with fallen tree branches and has been poorly utilized. How  can you go through 5 lazy, hazy summers with hanging out on the porch swing? That ends this weekend. Wit a little throw pillows, cushions, and wood polish, it can be used again in no time. If you have the means and the space to build/install a porch swing, I would suggest you do. It’s a nod to Midwestern Americana nostalgia.
