eat: Green Tea Crepe Cake

Green Tea Crepe CakeI’m not sure I can pinpoint when my obsession with green tea crepe cake began. I want to say it was when I saw a picture of it at a college friend’s coworker’s going away party, but I can’t be certain. Irregardless of how I came to know of their existence, I have been obsessed with this dessert ever since. Crepe cakes consist of multiple crepes with cream filling spread between each layer. They can come in various flavors, but the one I want to focus on is the green tea variety, which is made with matcha (green tea powder).  If you are up for the task, a recipe for this cake can be found here (be warned: depending on if you plan on making your own crepes, this recipe can take hours to make). Bon appettit!
