watch: Mistresses
As much as I love intelligent, well written shows like “Breaking Bad” and “Scandal”. I still have a soft spot for television shows that are just soapy, dramatic fun. Ever since the end of “Desperate Housewives”, there has been a void in television dramas that are just good, mindless fun, and “Mistresses” could be that show to fill that void. The dramedy centers around four friends who are either the mistress or dealing with the mistress in the relationship. It is a remake of a British show with a similar name and setup. While the topic can get heavy, the show deals with it in an appropriate, realistic (or as realistic as a television show can get). If you’re looking for a mindless, juicy television drama, I would definitely check this out.
