live: Entryway Doorways
In many instances, a door can be an indicator for the space you’re about to enter. A sleek, minimalist door can prepare you for the modernity you’re about to experience just like a rustic, unfinished door can set the mood for a countryside home. Nowadays, architects are taking that into consideration and in neighborhoods all over the world, you can see artistic reflection on doors. Some doors add a pop of color to a house’s exterior, while others are so ornate that they could pass off as a work of art on their own. I find that doors can be the most beautiful part of the home even if it is on the outside, and can usually be a reflection of the house as a whole. If you are building or designing your dream home, I would take that into consideration.
