Watch: Love Me If You Dare
When it comes to movies, I try to be open minded, watching everything from documentaries to independent films to foreign films. One day, I was bored and wanted to watch a movie on Netflix and I came across the French romantic comedy, “Love Me If You Dare” starting one of my favorite actresses, Marion Cotillard and Patrick Dempsey doppelganger Guillaume Canet. The film is about two childhood friends who are always trying to outdo each other by constantly daring each other to do outrageous stunts. Sometimes the game is played for fun, other times, it’s to forget personal pain, each time, their dares are innocent. As they get older, they continue to play the game, but it becomes more imminent that the game is used to avoid discussing their feelings for each other. What I love about the movie, besides the soundtrack and the beautiful cinematography, is that Cotillard and Canet actually fell in love during the filming of this movie! “Love Me if You Dare” be found on YouTube, so there’s not excuse to not check it out.
