Wear: 2013 Golden Globe Fashion
Another award show, the Golden Globes, came and went on Sunday (how hilarious were Tina Fey and Amy Poehler?! I say they host again) and with it, came amazing fashion choices by some of Hollywood’s top stars. My favorite of the night was Jennifer Lawrence in Christian Dior. She is about to be the face of the brand’s handbags so it isn’t a surprise she chose this. Emily Blunt looked great in this lace cutout dress by Michael Kors. Anne Hathaway looked delicate in a strapless white Chanel dress and Sarah Hyland channeled her “Modern Family” costar and tried something different with her black Max Azria Atelier.
Kristen Wiig’s fashion choices are often polarizing, but there’s no denying she looked great last night in this sleek, black Michael Kors. Lea Michele was rocking a beautiful Elie Saab dress that emphasized her tan. Julianne Moore could do no wrong in her black and white dress from her favorite designer, Tom Ford. Another face of Dior, Marion Cotillard was loyal to the brand in this orange cocktail number.
Naomi Watts looked gorgeous in maroon Zac Posen. Post pregnancy looked good on Claire Danes as she flaunted her curves in Versace. Jennifer Garner on the red carpet doesn’t happen as often as it should and she looked fantastic in Vivienne Westwood. Amanda Seyfried looked beautiful in Givenchy to represent the “Les Miserables” cast.
Finally, Sofia Vergara ditched her typical mermaid dress (but not the sequins) in this black number. Kerry Washington continues her style streak in Miu Miu. Taylor Swift goes for an older look in Donna Karan, and the hostess with the mostest, Amy Poehler, channeled her inner Gwyneth Paltrow in this Stella McCartney pantsuit. There was just too much good fashion to pass up at the Golden Globes. I can’t wait for the next award show…
