Watch: Elf

ElfI am currently suffering from a cold and it’s been nothing but chicken noodle soup and Sudafed for the past couple days. I have taken this opportunity as a way to re-watch movies that I love to watch during the holidays. One go to favorite movie of mine to watch besides Love Actually and “The Polar Express“, is “Elf”. This adorable Christmas comedy came out in 2003 (wow, I’m getting old) and because a modern holiday classic. Will Ferrell stars as Buddy the Elf who goes to New York City to bond with his biological dad after he discovers he isn’t like the other elves. During his stay, he touches the lives of everyone he comes in contact with based on his innocent, childlike demeanor. “Elf” is a cute, light film that even when you’re filling sick or having a bad day. Also, watch it to see a blonde Zooey Deschanel in the movie that started the trend of her singing in everything movie/tv show she’s on.
