Festival-Of-Lights-Lyon-France-00Christmas lights on neighborhood houses get more extreme as each year passes, if you don’t believe me, check out YouTube. But no house I ever seen can rival the lights shown at the Lyon Festival of Lights. Every year on December 8th, the city of Lyon transforms into a spectacle of lights detailing and celebrating art, history, and culture from around the world. It is one of the largest urban events of the world, drawing over 3 million visitors each year. The festival usually lasts for days, so if you are lucky enough to be in the area, I highly suggest making a trip to see these gorgeous light displays.
