Listen: Calvin Harris

Songs: “Feel So Close”, “Bounce”, “Let’s Go”

Most people’s official introduction to Calvin Harris was with the smash hit song he produced with Rihanna called “We Found Love”, but he actually had one of his first hits 6 years ago with the trippy “Acceptable in the 80s”. Like other popular DJs like Tiesto, Avicii, and Swedish House Mafia, he toured around Europe for years, selling out shows and releasing singles along the way that were moderate successes. It wasn’t until a few years ago that he found a mainstream following in the US with his single, “Feel So Close”. He recently released his new album called, “18 Months” that features artists like Ne-Yo, Kelis, and Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine. Definitely worth a listen if you have the time.
