Drink: Mulled Cider

It’s almost criminal that I have gone this far into fall without writing about cider. When made properly, it is one of the most warming, fragrant, and satisfying drinks of the fall. As much as I love the drink, a good cider takes a long time to make. Luckily, I’ve had a lot of time on my hands lately, so I plan on diving into it this weekend since it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas and is getting extremely cold on the East Coast. I always look forward to this delicious apple-cinnamon treat around this time of year. A good recipe for mulled cider can be found here, but there are also less time consuming recipes like this one from chef Bobby Flay. Bottoms up!
