Travel: Anywhere but the East Coast
In this “Travel” section, I usually blog about picturesque areas that if I’m lucky in my lifetime, I will be able to visit. As I write this from my home in Maryland, I wish I could transport myself to any of those places right now. I am looking outside my window and watching the rain pellet parked cars in the parking lot and the wind blow leaves, that recently changed colors, off of trees (I am also secretly hoping these said trees do not knock over my house, but I digress). Hurricane Sandy aka Frankenstorm has arrived and by the state of Maryland, I have been ordered to stay indoors. So when it came time to write about where to travel, how could I choose just one? Anywhere else in the world would be better than being caught in this cold, watery mess! So I’ll let you pick the place to travel today. And for my fellow East Coasters: please be safe.
