Watch: Scream

I’m not a huge fan of horror movies. All the characters are stupid, naked, or both and even though it might sound harsh, I am indifferent to their deaths. Since Halloween is around the corner, television stations are having their Halloween movie marathons. If I had to choose, I would say one of my favorite horror films and movies in general is “Scream”. For those who don’t know, it is a story about a high school student named Sidney Prescott who is being terrorized by a masked killer named Ghostface. The best part about the movie was even though it was actually scary at times, it satirized the horror genre and its cliches , mainly through the commentary of Jamie Kennedy’s character. Even though I already know what happens, like the iconic opening with Drew Barrymore to who is behind the infamous Ghostface killer mask, I love watching this movie around this time of year and you should too.
