Eat: French-Toasted Angel Food Cake


I don’t eat French Toast as much as I would like to, but when I do, I like to go all out. It’s one of the least complicated breakfast items to make: you’re basically soaking a piece of bread in an egg mixture and frying it on the pan. Since white bread has been banned from my house since 1998, I settle for whole wheat bread, which is just as delicious. When I came across this recipe, I thought it was ingenious, so ingenious I wish I had thought of it. It would never cross my mind to dip angel food cake into French toast egg mixture, but now that I know about it, I might do it everyday. This low calorie recipe can be found here. Bon appétit!
