Listen: Tim Buckley

Listen: “Once I Was

Hollywood’s most recent obsession is with the Buckley family. Two movies about musicians who were gone too soon, Tim and Jeff Buckley, are set to hit the big screen soon. A trailer for one film, called “Greetings from Tim Buckley” starring Penn Badgley came out the other day, which focuses on persuading Jeff to perform at a tribute concert for his father. The trailer ends with Badgley performing a soulful rendition of Tim Buckley’s “Once I Was”, and it was that performance that played a part in launching Jeff’s career. If you are into classic folk music, I highly recommend checking out some of Tim Buckley’s work.
