Drink: Blackberry Bramble

The reality of the return of autumn is around the corner, and for those who want to hold on to those final days of summer, this drink is for you. The blackberry bramble is an concoction created by London’s iconic bartender, Dick Bradsell, in the 1980s. The gin based drink is traditionally made with crème de mûre (a blackberry liqueur), sugar syrup, and lime juice mixed in with fresh crushed blackberries. It’s one of the last times that blackberries are in season. A simplified recipe for this drink can be found here, but bramble can be made in different variations. Bottoms up!
