Wear: Catherine Malandrino Spring 2013

For her Spring 2013 collection, Catherine Malandrino seemed to inspired by a young Parisian woman. The collection  had a cool color palette and was mostly sporty, but with an edge. Almost every fabric and technique known to mankind was used in her exhibit: mesh, croquet, fringe, scalloped edges, draping, you name it. While the elements sound like a lot to process, they all work together to make flawless outfits. I could see the second outfit on someone like Miley Cyrus, who likes to show of her toned abs. The third look is something that will definitely find its way to the red carpet, for anybody who want to have an Angelina Jolie Oscar moment with the high slit. The fourth look is perfect party wear and the shiny heels give it a nice touch.
