Wear: Jason Wu Spring 2013

Jason Wu has been a fashion darling ever since he designed Michelle Obama’s inaugural dress back in 2009 and with this collection, it is no surprise. Like BCBG Max Azria’s collection this season, Wu was inspired by Helmut Newton, sticking to a mostly neutral palette but mixing leather, lace, and chiffon in an edgy, yet feminine way. Color did find a way in the collection, in hot pink and navy blue, which can be seen in the second picture. Another gorgeous dress was the third picture, which is classic Wu with polka dot, piped lining, cinched waist, and flouncy skirt. And there’s not enough words to describe how spectacular the first look is. Overall, an amazing showing and the rest of the looks can be seen here.
