Wear: Jenni Kayne Spring 2013

Jenni Kayne has been in the fashion game for almost 10 years, bringing her laid back California girl style to the masses since the age of 19. Separates in solid and printed fabrics seem to be a theme in this collection. The pieces can be worn apart or the prints can be mixed and matched, depending on the aesthetic one is going for. A favorite pieces is the red carpet ready gown in the fuchsia color pop that I could see on a young Hollywood actress like Emma Stone or Kirsten Dunst, who is actually already a fan of the label. The blouses, especially the bronze long sleeve shirt and the striped shirt are tops that can be dressed up or down. This collection is for the woman who shops in her closet and can make new outfits with a few pieces.
