Listen: Imagine Dragons

Songs: “It’s Time” and “Radioactive

As mentioned before, a great way to learn about new music is from television shows, but movie trailers have some great gems too. For the movie adaptation of the novel, “The Perks of Being a Wallflower”, during the end montage, the song, “It’s Time” by Imagine Dragons was played and soon afterwards, instantly a hit. The alternative rock quartet formed in 2008 in Las Vegas, released two EPs in 2010, and signed to major record label Interscope Records last year. After the release of their single, “It’s Time”, they were chosen as MTV’s PUSH Artist of the Week, nominated for a VMA, and the ultimate sign of  music fame these days, the song will be covered on the season premiere of the FOX show, “Glee”. Their debut album  is set to be released in 2 days on September 4th, I highly suggest checking it out.
