Drink: Blood Orange Campari Cocktail

Blood oranges seem to be having a moment these past couple years. Its recent popularity may have to do with the tv show, “True Blood” which is also the name of the drink some vampires consume on the show. A while back, HBO decided to produce the drink, thankfully making it a carbonated blood orange drink instead of synthetic blood, like on the show. There are many uses of blood oranges, but a favorite is to make a cocktail with them. The sweetness of the blood orange juice can liven up the driest of champagnes, giving it a beautiful red-orange color and a delightful taste. A recipe for one can be found here. Drink up!
